Our Hiring Process

From the very beginning and throughout the hiring process, you will notice something different about us. We value being genuine and authentic in all we do and encourage you to do the same.

As you move along in our hiring process, the Talent Acquisition Team will be as transparent as possible, so you can be prepared and know exactly what to expect.

Our Application Process

After you find a role that you feel matches your skills and experience, please complete and submit an online application.

  • Create an account by entering a username and password.
  • Upload a resume or enter your work history.
  • Verify that your contact information is correct.

Our Screening Process

Our Talent Acquisition Team takes the time to review each application we receive. That’s right, we use real people to screen our candidates – not AI. If we feel you’re a good match we will reach out to schedule an initial phone interview with you.

This initial conversation will be used as an opportunity for us to get to know you as more than just a resume. It will help us dive into your experience, assess your qualifications, and see if there is a mutual interest in the role. This is also an opportunity for our team to share with you information on Rahr and details specific to the job you are applying for.

After the initial phone screen, the recruiter will share your profile, including resume and interview notes, with the hiring manager. If we feel there is mutual interest, we will schedule the next round of interviews. Depending on the role these may be in-person or virtual.

In this second round of interviews, you will have a chance to meet with the hiring manager and speak more specifically about the opportunity. They will give you insight into the team, culture, and expectations of the role.

Depending on the position, additional interviews may be conducted. These will allow you to meet additional leaders and peers within the organization.

New Employee Onboarding

Our Human Resources team works closely with the hiring manager to create an individualized, immersive onboarding plan for each new employee. These plans are built around a few basic principles of success, including company culture integration, thoughtful pacing, meaningful connections, engaging experiences, and leadership exposure.

During the first 90 days, all new hires focus on role-specific, team-specific, and company-wide learning. They also have opportunities to touch base with their recruiter and Human Resources team members to ensure successful assimilation into the company.
