Koda Energy celebrated the 6thAnnual Bioenergy Day this Wednesday at their facilities on the Rahr Malting campus in Shakopee, Minnesota. Fellow renewable and bioenergy businesses attended to present their contribution to the environment. Doors opened at 9am and the event went to 3pm, complete with tours of the Koda Energy plant, presentations, and food provided by Woodmaster. According to their final numbers, they had made approximately 430 hamburgers for attendees using their wood pellet grill. Dem Con presented a virtual reality tour of their recycling plant in Shakopee, MN, allowing attendees to try on VR goggles and fly through their plant while learning about their recycling process.
